Alberta & Community Co-operative Association (ACCA) is pleased to welcome Corinne Remple as Interim Executive Director. 

Corinne joined the ACCA team in November 2020 as Communications Manager, and later became the Director Shared Services and Communications. She will continue to serve in this role in addition to her new responsibilities as Executive Director. Corinne is passionate about creating connections with and between our members and dreaming up new and innovative ways to provide value for members and advance the sector. This is seen most clearly in the creation of ACCESS - a shared service nonprofit co-operative specifically formed to provide professional administrative back-office support for social purpose organizations, including co-ops, nonprofits, charities, childcare centers and social enterprises across Canada. The idea of a shared services staffing platform had been considered as a member benefit prior to Corinne coming on board, but it was her vision and leadership that brought the project to life. 

With the many changes that have happened over the last few months, the board thought it was important to appoint an internal candidate as Interim ED to provide some stability as ACCA explores to best serve members and grow the co-operative sector.
