Vicki Zinyk Elected as Board Chair
At the Annual General Meeting held May 28, 2021 delegates unanimously elected Vicki Zinyk to the position of Board Chair with the Alberta Community & Co-operative Association (ACCA) for a three-year term. She succeeds Randy Taylor, who stepped down after twelve years.
More About Vicki
Vicki currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Alberta Cooperative Energy (ACE) and General Manager of the North Parkland Power Co-op. Previously, Vicki worked for NOVA, ENMAX, and Thorhild County, contributing to projects that advanced the public good like the development of Alberta’s first wind farm in 1993 and Calgary Transit’s “Ride the Wind” initiative. She is a well-known advocate for the co-operative model, and a recognized leader in the field.
