Co-op Awards 2023 - Nominations Now Open

Do you know of an outstanding, innovative, and/or inspiring co-operative or co-operator? Nominate them for one of four awards to be presented at The ACCA Co-operative Conference in November during the Elected Officials Reception!

Nominations are currently open in the following categories:

• Co-operative Merit Award

Presented to an individual or individuals working in a co-operative and/or credit union who provide outstanding service to members and embody co-operative principle seven – concern for community.

• Co-operative Visionary Leadership Award

Presented to an individual or organization in recognition of demonstrated leadership in a co-operative or credit union that innovates and inspires. 

• Co-operative Innovation Award

Presented to an individual or organization for innovative programs or initiatives that promote co-op principle five – education, training, and information, delivered to members in new and exciting ways.

• Inspiring Young Co-operator Award- includes a $500.00 Award

Presented to emerging sector leaders thirty-five years of age or younger who exemplify co-operative values and principles.

Nomination Procedure

Nominations are open in all categories from Friday, September 15 and closing on Friday, October 13. Winners will be selected from received entries by the Awards Selection Committee, who will review nominations the week following submission deadline. Winners will be notified via e-mail shortly thereafter and presented with their award at the MLA Reception and Awards gala, held as part of The Co-operative Gathering on Tuesday, November 7.
