Shared Services through ACCESS - Now Available

It's been nine months since the team first officially met and the first grouping of shared services through ACCESS is now available. In partnership with the Volunteer Alberta and Econocoop, ACCA has developed a shared services model called ACCESS (Allied Community & Cooperative Shared Services). ACCESS is a nonprofit co-operative comprised of co-aligned shared staff. The ACCESS team works with your team - reducing organizational pressures, filling services gaps and providing essential administrative back-office support for nonprofits, co-operatives, and social enterprises across Alberta and BC. 

Currently, ACCESS is in the development phase - new relationships are growing! And, we are ready to accept members to the first grouping of shared services including:

  • Bookkeeping;

  • Information Technology (IT); and

  • Legal

Regardless of size, all organizations need to assess the most efficient use of dollars spent. 

From deposit pools to training opportunities and now - Shared Services! The BCCA/ACCA team actively looks for extra opportunities our members can use to help them succeed at any stage of their journey. To honour this commitment, BCCA/ACCA members obtain and only pay for services they use without the burden of additional membership fees. 

As ACCESS grows, so too will the suite of services we provide. We value accessibility, alignment, and flexibility and endeavour to seek and adapt to feedback from our members and clients.
