Co-operative Youth Leadership Program

Confirmation Packages

Your program week is fast approaching and we are so excited! The Co-operative Youth Leadership Program is going to be awesome, here's everything you need to know, have and prepare for a great week.

IMPORTANT NOTES…

If you are wanting to take the bus or change bus stop locations, please contact our office at info@acca.coop or 780-991-4620.
Please arrive at the bus stop early as the bus has a very tight schedule with stops after yours. The departure and arrival times are on the schedule.  Please be on time as the bus will not wait for you.  You are limited to one carry on, one suitcase, one sleeping bag and one pillow, so pack carefully!  Please do not change your pick-up location unless you notify ACCA in writing.  Please refer to the bus schedule for exact pick up times and locations.

If you are not able to make it to the program by the designated times, you must let the ACCA office know at least one week prior to your program. If you are not taking the bus, arrival time is 3:00-3:15pm. You may NOT arrive at Goldeye Centre before this arrival time on the first day of your program. We will not be ready to register you before that time.

We are located 100 km or 60 minutes from the nearest hospital.   For this reason, we need complete information on the health report.  Any changes in medical information from your Participant Health Report must be reported upon arrival at Goldeye.  The easiest way to do this would be to write a letter detailing the new information (including new prescriptions) and bring it to the program in your/your child's luggage.

If you are prone to any condition that will require any type of medication during the program (allergies, headaches etc) you must provide the medication in its original packaging and provide written instructions for the specific use of each drug. Please have these in a labelled Ziploc bag. This applies to all prescriptions and everything else from Tylenol to cough syrup to Benadryl to Gravol.  All medications are stored in a locked cupboard and are administered by an ACCA staff member that is First Aid/ CPR Trained. All medications will be returned to participants at the end of the program.

Please note that Epi-pens work only once for a maximum of 20 minutes. For your safety, please bring 2 Epi-pens if you have serious allergies.

*This page will be updated each year at the end of May with the confirmation packages for that summers program* This page HAS been updated May 2022.*
