Call for Board of Directors Nominations - Deadline May 17

We’re looking for passionate, engaged ACCA members to join the ACCA Board. Sounds like you, or someone you know? Then view the Nominations Package and put their name in for consideration!

What we’re looking for:

  • an understanding of the co-operative system 

  • communication to multiple stakeholders 

  • demonstrated ability to understand and interpret financial reports in relation to an organization’s strategic plan 

  • board oversight and monitoring of strategic priorities 

  • committed to the success of the association and participate fully in board activities 

  • understanding of governance practices  

Commitment Requirement 

  • Full day meeting 4 times per year 

  • Planning session 

  • Annual General Meeting 

  • Other association events 4 days per year 

  • Committee meetings (mostly by conference call) a few hours per meeting 

  • Other meetings called by the chair (minimal)
