Co-op Week is fast approaching and ACCA is excited to announce a special online conference event being co-hosted with the BC Co-operative Association (BCCA).

COVID-19 and Co-ops: Strategic Foresight – Wednesday, October 14, 9 to 11 am PT

Does your co-operative have a winning strategy to excel in these unprecedented and uncertain times?

ACCA and BCCA are proud to offer this thought-provoking two-hour session that explores the factors that will impact the co-operative sector, and your members, over the next 18 months. Understand what the economy will look like and how it will impact your co-operative.

Following an overview of the Co-operative Intelligence Unit’s most recent document on the impact of COVID on the co-operative sector), participants will have an opportunity to join breakout sessions with one of the documents contributing authors and other co-operative experts in strategic forecasting:

• Modern Monetary Theory and Economic Growth hosted by Marc-Andre Pigeon and Ian Glassford

• Platform Co-ops hosted by Stephanie Guico

• The Co-operative Advantage in Repairing Supply Chains caused by COVID-19 hosted by Bill Oemichen

After these breakout sessions, participants will return to plenary to hear HOW to adjust, improve, and implement strategic foresight.
